↓ONE CONNECTED WORKFLOW
A platform should make the next action clearer. We connect the steps around an enquiry, rate, shipment and document so your team can work from the same information.
Start with the route and cargo. Bring requests from customers and colleagues into one structured record, with the details needed to assess the shipment.
Discuss this workflowCompare carrier offers and prepare a customer rate. Make the approval step explicit, so a quotation is kept separate from a confirmed transport instruction.
Discuss this workflowKeep FTL and LTL requirements, collection windows and delivery updates together. Give each team a clear view of the information and actions relevant to its work.
Discuss this workflowKeep the quotation, transport instructions and supporting documents with the shipment. Define who can view or update them as part of the agreed workflow.
Discuss this workflowGive customers and transport partners a focused workspace. Scope what each role can see, what it can change and when a decision needs your team’s approval.
Discuss this workflowStart with the information your team needs to make decisions. Agree reports, exports and connections to existing systems before they become part of the project.

BUILT FROM TRANSPORT OPERATIONS
Plytrest works with the practical questions behind FTL and LTL transport: what is being moved, how it will be loaded, which dates matter and who must confirm the rate. We bring that operational perspective to the design of your workspace.
Plan your workspaceYOUR DATA AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Entrusting a provider with operational data requires more than a hosting location. Before deployment, we agree where information is stored, who may access it and how it can be recovered or handed back.
Identify the storage locations for the database, shipment documents and backups. Review external services separately, including what information they receive.
Define customer separation, user roles and administrator access. Agree how access for support is authorised and removed when it is no longer needed.
Set the backup frequency and retention period, identify who handles recovery and agree how restoration is checked. These arrangements belong in the service scope.
Agree the export format, handover process and treatment of retained copies when the service ends. Your team should understand the practical route to recovering its information.
The final hosting model and security measures depend on the agreed deployment. Integrations, external processing and operational responsibilities are documented separately; they are not implied by a European server location.
Discuss data responsibilitiesA PRACTICAL DELIVERY PROCESS
We start with a real transport process, agree a focused first release and review it with your team. The implementation plan sets out the scope, responsibilities and checks needed before launch.
Walk through one representative enquiry with us: the route, cargo, offers, approvals and documents. We identify the handovers that need a clearer process.
Define the screens, roles and working rules your team needs first. Review the proposed workflow before implementation, with integrations and additional features scoped separately.
Use representative cases to check permissions, calculations and everyday actions. Agree the launch, support and handover arrangements before putting the workflow into use.
A CLEAR STARTING POINT
Begin with a defined process, such as road freight enquiries and rate approval. Additional workflows can follow once their value, responsibilities and technical requirements are clear.

START WITH YOUR WORKFLOW
Tell us how requests arrive, who agrees the rate and where information gets lost. We will use that workflow to discuss a practical starting point and the scope of your platform.
